Clear information
about your information.
This policy explains the limited information the BrainSwerve website and studio may receive, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Scope
This policy applies to the public website at brainswerve.com and enquiries made to BrainSwerve through the contact details provided on the site. A separate project agreement may contain additional privacy and security terms for client work.
BrainSwerve is based in Sydney, Australia. Privacy obligations depend on the nature of the information, the organisation involved, and applicable law.
Information that may be collected
Information you provide. If you email, call, or otherwise contact BrainSwerve, the studio may receive your name, role, organisation, contact details, message, and any information you choose to include.
Basic technical records. The hosting and security provider may process IP addresses, request details, browser information, timestamps, and security signals required to deliver and protect the site.
No website form or advertising tracker is currently used. The site does not currently include a contact form, user account, payment flow, or Google Analytics tag. This may change in the future, in which case this policy should be updated.
How information is used
- Respond to an enquiry and communicate about potential or active work.
- Understand business needs and prepare an appropriate response or proposal.
- Deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- Maintain business records and meet legal or contractual obligations.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
BrainSwerve does not sell personal information.
Hosting, fonts, and third-party links
The website is hosted through Cloudflare, which may process technical information to deliver, cache, and protect the site. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so a visitor's browser may make a request to Google's font services.
The website also links to external guidance, technology providers, and other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by those organisations. Review their policies before providing information.
Retention and security
Enquiry and business information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for communication, project delivery, record keeping, dispute management, or legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the relationship and information involved.
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information, but no internet service or storage method can guarantee absolute security. Do not send sensitive credentials, health information, identity documents, or confidential datasets through an initial email unless an appropriate secure method has been agreed.
Your choices
You may ask BrainSwerve to explain, correct, or delete personal information held about you, subject to applicable legal and record-keeping requirements. You may also ask not to receive further non-essential communication.
Browser settings and content blockers may limit third-party font requests. Cloudflare security and delivery records are governed by Cloudflare's systems and retention practices.
Contact about privacy
Use the email or phone details in the BrainSwerve contact section for privacy questions or requests. Please do not include additional sensitive information until an appropriate way to exchange it has been agreed.
